Herzliche Gratulation, erste Kohorte von Masters of Tomorrow
Am Mittwoch, 3. Juli, haben wir den Eröffnungskurs des Förderclubs „Masters of Tomorrow“ in der Bibliothek Schmerikon abgeschlossen. In den 10 Workshops des Frühlingskurses haben die Teilnehmer viel gelernt.
Am Mittwoch, 3. Juli, haben wir den Eröffnungskurs des Förderclubs „Masters of Tomorrow“ in der Bibliothek Schmerikon abgeschlossen. In den 10 Workshops des Frühlingskurses haben die Teilnehmer viel gelernt – die Natur von Schall und Licht, Gravitation und Reibung, Tricks mit Optik und Thermodynamik und vieles mehr. All das haben sie in coolen Experimenten selbst ausprobiert und getestet. Außerdem haben sie durch die verschiedenen Übungen ihren EQ gesteigert. Und natürlich haben sie jede Menge Lego-Modelle gebaut und programmiert!
Im letzten Workshop bauten die Master ein Schneemobil und programmierten es so, dass es einer bestimmten, von ihnen selbst entworfenen Route folgte. Anschließend führten sie ihren Eltern stolz die Durchfahrt vor. Was für ein toller Abschluss des Kurses!
Und das Feedback der Eltern war auch toll. Wie ein Mami mitgeteilt hat: „Iven hat sehr vom Kurs geschwärmt. Die Mischung aus Lernen & Spass haben ist genau richtig“.

Congratulations, first cohort of Masters of Tomorrow!
On Wednesday, July 3rd we wrapped up the inaugural course of the "Masters of Tomorrow" development club in the Bibliothek Schmerikon. In the 10 Spring Course workshops the participants learnt a lot - nature of sound and light, gravitation and friction, tricks with optics and thermodynamics, and much more. All of that they tried and tested themselves in cool experiments. They also increased their EQ through the various exercises. And, of course, they built and programmed a bunch of Lego models!
In the last workshop the Masters built a snowmobile and programmed it to follow a certain route, which they designed themselves. They then proudly demonstrated the drive-through to their parents. What a great way to end the course!
And the feedback from the parents was also great. As one parent shared (translated): “Iven really raved about the course. The mix of learning and having fun is just right”.
New adventures await in the Autumn Course!
