Förderclub “Masters of Tomorrow” – ein toller Start
Der erste Workshop des Förderclubs fand letzten Mittwoch statt. Den Kindern hat „alles gefallen“.
Am Mittwoch, 24. April 2024 hatte der Club einen tollen ersten Workshop in den Räumen der Bibliothek Schmerikon! Alle Kinder waren wirklich engagiert und haben aktiv an allen Aktivitäten teilgenommen. Gut gemacht!
Das wissenschaftliche Thema für den Workshop war Schall. Die Kinder lernten, dass Schall eine Welle ist und wie und warum wir etwas hören. Sie machten ein paar Experimente, um die Schwingungen zu sehen und zu fühlen, welche Geräusche erzeugen. Darunter den Bau und die Programmierung einer kleinen Trommel aus LEGO. Und davor hatten sie auf spielerische Weise gelernt, was ein Programm ist, während sie einen Teamkollegen „programmierten“.
Das Feedback der Kinder war grossartig – ihnen hat „alles gefallen“. Der einzige Wunsch war, mehr zu bauen, da das Modell, das sie im ersten Workshop gebaut haben, sehr einfach war. Kein Problem – im nächsten Workshop wird noch einer draufgesetzt!
Development Club “Masters of Tomorrow” – off to a great start!
On Wednesday, April 24th the Club had a great first workshop in the Bibliothek Schmerikon! All the kids were really engaged and participated actively in all the activities. Well done!
The science topic for the workshop was sound. The kids learnt that sound is a wave and how and why we hear something. They made a couple of experiments to see and feel the vibrations that produce sounds, including building and programming a little drum from LEGO. And before that they had learnt in a playful way what a program was while they “programmed” one of the teammates.
The feedback from the kids was great - they “liked everything”. The only wish was to build more as the model they built in the first workshop was very basic. Not a problem – it’ll go up a notch in the next workshop!
